During my recent stay in Almaty, I experienced a blend of traditional and modern elements that added character to the accommodation. The location is conveniently situated near Dotysk Plaza, providing easy access to a variety of shops and dining options, such as the nearby Qaganat outlet, known for its good food. I changed rooms several times, accommodating both a spacious 8-bed dorm and more crowded 12-bed options, which had their challenges, particularly with only one bathroom available. I appreciated the private double room, which, while compact, was functional and clean. The bed was notably comfortable, a pleasant surprise for a hostel experience. The staff, particularly Merat at reception, were attentive and communicative, providing support in English and Russian.
